After 555+ days imprisoned without charge, his lawyer found him on July 2, 2026 at the underground Rakefet interrogation facility with severe hammer and baton injuries to his head, eyes, ears and neck. He told his lawyer: "This is the last time you will see me. They brought me here to kill me."
