Advocate for the Release of Ikhtiyor Khushvaktov from ICE Detention

Ikhtiyor Khushvaktov, a resident of Ontario, CA, is currently detained at the GEO Adelanto ICE Processing Center despite having a pending asylum application and a valid work permit through 2030. He entered the U.S. on a student visa and properly filed for asylum before his visa expired. While traveling to New York, he was detained by ICE agents at the airport. His family and community are deeply concerned about his prolonged detention while his asylum case awaits adjudication. We are calling on congressional representatives to advocate for his immediate release so he can return to his home and community while his case proceeds through the legal system.
