Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, supreme leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)—India's largest Hindu nationalist organization—is scheduled to arrive in the United Kingdom on September 3, 2026 as part of the RSS centenary celebrations. The Kashmir Centre has submitted a formal representation to the Home Secretary calling for an urgent individualised assessment under the Immigration Rules. The RSS was banned three times by the Indian Government (1948, 1975, 1992), and its early ideologue M.S. Golwalkar praised Nazi Germany's treatment of Jews as 'Race pride at its highest.' In June 2026, the Home Office cancelled visas for Cenk Uygur and Hasan Piker on 'non-conducive to public good' grounds. This campaign asks that the same legal framework be applied consistently to Dr. Bhagwat before his September 3 arrival. This is NOT a request to restrict Hinduism, British Hindus, or lawful political expression—it concerns one individual and asks that existing immigration law be applied to the facts of this case.
