CNN’s Platforming of Van Jones Fuels Islamophobia and Disinformation

CNN must stop Van Jones' continued spread of disinformation and Islamophobia in service of Israel's genocidal agenda. On August 4, Jones grossly misrepresented Michigan Senate nominee Dr. Abdul El-Sayed’s legal opposition to arms sales, grotesquely claiming it signals “open season for Israeli children” and leaving "Israeli children to be bombed and rocketed.” Van Jones also made seven references to Muslim identity in just over eight minutes of airtime and weaponized fear to smear Dr. El-Sayed. CNN must fire Jones or force a public apology for his Islamophobia and complicity in genocide denial.
